Your project’s success depends on your Project Management skills and abilities to plan and manage the many aspects of the project successfully.

Project Managers need to identify requirements, define budgets and schedules, and then manage a project team to accomplish those requirements with limited resources, with a defined budget and in a defined schedule. Even the best line organization managers need to learn different skills to successfully complete even small projects, and this class will give you those skills.

YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to start and plan your project for success
  • How to use the project Activity Plan to manage your project
  • Identifying and managing the stakeholders and forming the Project Team
  • Using data to know your project’s status, manage the project and report to stakeholders

AFTER ATTENDING THIS CLASS, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Create a Project Charter, and an Activity Plan as the basis for managing your project.
  • Create and understand a Stakeholder Registry as well as form your project team
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders using a variety of different methods.
  • Use the Activity Plan to track and report on your project’s progress
  • Use project metrics (data) to manage and report on your project.
  • Identify and manage the risks that threaten your project’s success.
